Spatial tools and methods are critical aspects in ocean, coastal, and freshwater conservation. Conservation of species, communities, habitats, and important ecological features require protection at various scales in space and time. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) are terrific tools to monitor and analyze ecological patterns for conservation purposes; however, the usage of these tools come with two major challenges: 1) The most commonly used software packages are very expensive; and, 2) The investment in people who are trained in GIS/RS and specialize in ocean, coastal, and freshwater sciences can be larger than expected. These challenges can cause the delay or cancellation of projects due to lack of funds and/or resources.

My mission, as a marine, coastal, and freshwater spatial ecologist, is to provide scientific and spatial support for non-profit organizations, government departments, and private sector clients. I offer science based services to clients that are cost effective to ensure proper management and conservation of underwater habitats occur. My passion to ensure the Oceans, Coasts, and Freshwater resources around the world ensure clients get a motivated and passionate spatial ecologist for their projects.
